Seandra brings a wealth of experience as a public policy advocate, specializing in crafting and executing effective strategies to address complex challenges spanning various sectors. She spent many years creating opportunities for policy advocates to collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring that a rich tapestry of voices and perspectives is woven into the energy and climate movement.
Recognized Expertise:
Seandra's expertise is widely respected, marked by her contributions through public testimony at regulatory proceedings and legislative hearings. Simultaneously, she collaborates closely with organizations, fostering vibrant internal dialogues that honor individual experiences and pave the way for organizations to pursue shared objectives.
Championing a Different Approach to Equity and Diversity:
Apart from her advocacy work, she also engages in discussions about embedding equity and diversity strategies in various industries while keeping the organization's mission, vision, and goals in mind. With her experience in energy, environmental, and climate policy, she has sparked conversations about the same.
In 2020, after the significant events involving George Floyd, Seandra shifted her attention toward fostering constructive and productive conversations about race. She aimed to empower business leaders in navigating the changing cultural landscape while keeping their overarching mission in focus. As a result, she stepped away from her policy advocacy and equity work.
Seandra, a fervent advocate for consensus-building, is now spearheading a transformation at Rooted Group. Her mission is to encourage genuine discussions where individuals can respect one another, feel comfortable making and learning from mistakes, and work together toward a shared vision.
Our Transformation and Ongoing Commitment:
Across the past few years, with an official launch in the Spring of 2023, we transitioned from policy advocacy and moved toward facilitating crucial conversations through advisory consulting, coaching and development, and tailored leadership support. Our aim is to empower business leaders to navigate cultural shifts, foster collective progress, and engage in essential dialogues while remaining steadfast in pursuit of their broader missions.
